You are now a publishing member of this blog, and I hope you turn it into a pleasant source of news, entertainment, information, etc.  It’s your blog; I’m just an interloper.

You are not limited to publishing your assignments, though you must do so according to any deadlines assigned.  You may use this blog as a publishing tool, but also as any group would use a blog.  You may communicate with each other here, post a review of a recent dining experience, discuss the political horizon and issues upon it, share a youtube video on a hot-button issue, and anything you feel is community-worthy and journalism-related.

Also, please consider developing the links and categories in the right sidebar.  I’ve added a few news sources, but I’m really very curious to see what kind of tool the class creates as a whole.  The more you participate here, the more ingratiated to me, and your public, you become.
